The examination itself is same.
However, the nursing board of Australia (AHPRA) not just takes NCLEX but also OSCE and collectively this 2 part assessment is called Objective Based Assessment (OBA).
Another difference of course comes in Nursing Board Approval. The AHPRA is much more rigorous in terms of documentations.
The steps of NCLEX for Australia is a 8 step procedure:-
- Self-check
- Fee Payment
- Orientation-1
- Portfolio
- Theory exam (NCLEX)
- OSCE (Practical)
- Registration
- Orientation-2
Although the steps sounds a lot, we will be helping you in all part of the way.
Unfortunately!! our education system is not in accordance to the standard of AHPRA. Only BSC. Nursing (4 years) is accepted in Australia
